One of our fabulous community members, Rebecca Summits, is founder of The Greater-Good Project. She does amazing work and we would love to join with her in providing bags for women in crisis. You can drop off your donations to us here and we will be able to give them to Bec as she does this great work with Share the Dignity.

Join us in making a very real and practical difference to a woman in need this Christmas. We're supporting Share the Dignity's #itsinthebag Christmas Appeal to help ensure a sister, mother, daughter or grandmother living in crisis is cared for and made to feel special. Grab a handbag you no longer use or buy one from an op-shop, fill it with items that would make a woman feel special and pop a thoughtful note into the bag to show her that someone cares and that she matters. What you put in your gift will depend on your bag size, your budget and your imagination. Here are some ideas... (new, unopened toiletries only please!) •Pads, tampons •Baby wipes, cleansing wipes, tissues •Deodorants, Perfume •Soap •Shampoo and conditioner •Toothpaste and toothbrush •Hair ties and hair brush •Sunscreen •Movie voucher, gift voucher, meal voucher •Scarf •Jewellery or trinket •Lotions, creams, smelly stuff •Card or note •Book The campaign runs from 19 November to 3 December 2016 in Australia. Drop off locations will be announced in November. I'll post an update ASAP but you can also stay informed by Liking Share the Dignity's page and signing up for their Newsletter!
