Red Cross: Senior First Aid
Cost:      $205.00
Topics include care of the conscious and unconscious patient, resuscitation techniques, management of breathing and cardiac problems, wounds, fractures, head injuries, burns, stings, poisons, hypo & hyperthermia, O.H. & S. legislation relevant to First Aid. First Aid Manual, resuscitation mask, bandages and notes supplied. On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with Statement of Attainment for Intermediate First Aid, valid for three years from date of issue.

Topics include care of the unconscious victim, resuscitation techniques, management of breathing problems, heart attack and O.H. & S. Code of Practice. Statement of attendance valid for 3 years from date of issue.

Red Cross: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
Cost:       $65.00
A basic course in the management of life threatening situations. Topics include care of the unconscious victim, breathing, cardiac emergencies and resuscitation. This statement valid for 12 months from date of issue.

Red Cross Refresher First Aid
Cost:       $125.00       ($100.00 conc.)
his course allows the first aider to update their knowledge and skills gained (within the previous 3 yrs) and revise first aid procedures. Participants will be updated on changes since their previous Senior First Aid. A current Senior First Aid (Workplace level 2) Statement of Attainment is a prerequisite for this course.

First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis

This course is designed to establish the essential skills and underpinning knowledge necessary to assist a person suffering a severe allergic reaction and anaphylaxis until arrival of medical assistance. On successful completion of course, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

Tuning into Kids is a parenting program that helps children learn to understand and regulate their emotions. It teaches parents: awareness and regulation of their own emotions as well as that of their children, to use children’s emotional experiences as an opportunity for closeness and teaching, skills in assisting children to verbally label and manage their emotions, problem solving and to guide their behaviour with appropriate limits. The program is suitable for parents of preschoolers and primary aged children.

Belly Dancing – Beginners

Fan Dance

Gentle exercise to tone your upper body (beneficial for women who’ve had breast cancer surgery – aiding lymph circulation in the upper body). Use beautiful moves from China and Spain, dancing to inspiring music. Fans provided or bring your own.

Flamenco Dance Percussion and Rhythms Workshop

Flamenco Shawl Dance

Explore the wonderful things you can do with a fringed shawl to the passionate flamenco music of the Spanish gypsies – from dramatic bull-fighter moves to flowing and sensual ones. Some shawls provided – you can also use heavier sarongs or veils. Moves can be adapted to Belly dance veil work.
